NOTAM Psalms 18:1-2  I love you, O LORD, my strength. 2 The LORD is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer, my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.

If you spend much time in the air you know about headwinds.  They are something you just have to plan around and understand if fly cross country.  On a long cross country trip with my family not long ago we ran into such big headwinds at every altitude we ended up altering our flight plan half way thru a leg to assure that we would have enough fuel.

Having a 60kts headwind does not mean we don’t take the journey.  If every time we had a headwind we didn’t fly, we’d spend a lot of time on the ground wishing we were flying instead.  Life gives us headwinds and we must decide how to face them.  God provides us the tools to deal with headwinds that challenge us. We must be willing to press on even in the mist of a headwind.  Arriving out destination will bring great reward.

5-T’s:  Are you pressing on during times of a headwind?  Do you adjust your course to reach the destination the Lord had chosen for you?  In relation to your headwinds, where are you spending your time on the list below?

NAV LOG: Get up every morning willing to press on no matter how strong your headwind is.  God will correct your course so that you alway make the destination.  Ask for daily guidance and wisdom.

PIREP (Prayer Time): Lord, teach me to persevere like Job, Moses, and Paul did.  Guide my every footstep like the example I see in Joseph.
