Day 3 – Point Of Confusion Kelly Householder NOTAM: Romans 8:26-27 ESV Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words. 27 And he who searches hearts knows what is the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints according to the will of God. When crossing a VOR in an airplane we understand that the instruments have a point of confusion where the transition of our navigation TO our VOR becomes FROM our VOR and our new course outbound begins. When an airplane transitions this point of confusion it only takes a few minutes or seconds depending on the groundspeed. However, if during that point of confusion we try to make changes to our course to accommodate the transition we would end wandering around the skies above. During our spiritual walk we will no doubt run into points of confusion along our journey. We need to stay in the confusion long enough to understand our outbound course, and to seek intersession from the Holy Spirit to guide us. God has direction for us, continuing to pray reveals His guidance during points of confusion. 5-T’s: How are using your seeking the guidance of the Holy Spirit to steer you and keep you on course? Time: Talent: Treasure: Testimony: Tithe: NAV LOG: God has a course for your life. Seek the Lord to provide you wisdom for the ways you are to go. PIREP (Prayer Time): Lord, teach me to pray, teach me to wait, and let my action push me forward in my course.
