Day 34 – The Law of Primacy

It just never gets old

NOTAM Psalm 100:5  For the LORD is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations.

As we are trained to become a pilot we have a heavy reliance on our instructor.  We expect that the instructor will be there to answer our tough questions and be the one who helps keep us out of hot water.  The instructor feels this pressure every time they get a question from you the student.  The instructor understand the law of Primacy.  The law of primacy states that the things we learn first we tend to remember the longest right or wrong.  The instructor must watch their words and, responses very careful.  The goal is to never teach the wrong things first because it will stick.  When we think about Psalm 100:5, how many things in the world do we see that go against this verse?  How much more do we rely on people vs. the LORD.  The LORD is all knowing and he will never teach primacy in the wrong way.  He is our guide for not only ourselves but our children, loved ones and even strangers.  The next time you have a question, are seeking a resolution, or are lost in what to do, remember – The LORD is good and his love endures forever.
